1. What is Park & Ride programme?
Park & Ride trial programme is pilot saving plan for commuters who park their cars at Taman Paramount LRT station car park and commute with LRT, RapidKL and / or Monorail to work. A maximum parking fee of RM3 will be charged instead of the hourly rate of RM2.00 for first hour and RM1.00 per hour for subsequent hour. 2. Who is eligible for the Park & Ride programme? Any pre-registration required? All LRT, RapidKL Bus and Monorail commuters who park their cars at Paramount station car park can participate in this programme. No pre-registration is required for Park & Ride programme. However, commuters are encouraged to register their Touch ‘n Go cards. 3. How to participate in Park & Ride programme? Just use the same Touch ’n Go card to pay for parking & LRT, RapidKL and/or Monorail fare. Complimentary card sticker for Park & Ride programme is available at Taman Paramount LRT station ticket counter upon request. 4. What is Touch ‘n Go card? Touch ‘n Go card is a prepaid smartcard that uses Mifare contactless technology. Mifare is the international de facto standard for contactless smartcard. Information contain in this card can be read and written via magnetic induction using specified radio frequency and smartcard software. Each time a user uses the Touch ‘n Go card, the electronic card reader will deduct the exact fare from the value stored inside the card. User can reload the card to continue using it. - Public Transport (Rapid KL – Buses & Train, KTM Komuter, KL Monorail)
- Theme Park (Bukit Merah Laketown Resort, Taman Desa Waterpark, Aquaria KLCC)
- Selected Parking Sites
- Selected Retail Outlets
5. How to use the Touch ‘n Go card? Do you swipe or Insert? The name Touch ‘n Go basically tells us how to use the card. Just “touch” the card on the card reader. You may use either side of the card. The system will emit a “beep” sound to indicate that the transaction is successful.
6. I don’t have a Touch ‘n Go card, where can I get the card? Touch ‘n Go card is available for sale at Taman Paramount LRT station. 7. I have a Touch ‘n Go card, but the card does not have sufficient balance. Where can I reload my card? The nearest reload point at Taman Paramount LRT station car park would be the LRT station ticket counter. 8. What are the benefits of using Touch ‘n Go? - Enjoy savings with programme such as Park & Ride.

9. Is there any surcharge when I use Touch ‘n Go card for Park & Ride programme?
No 10. Is there a minimum value / limit needs to be stored in the Touch ‘n Go card? Your Touch ‘n Go card must have sufficient balance to make payment. You have to reload your card, if it does not have sufficient balance. 11. Is there a maximum value/limit that can be stored in the card? Yes. For security reason, each Touch ‘n Go card can store only up to RM1500. 12. Can I have a receipt for transaction(s) that I have made? No receipt will be generated by parking & transit usage points.
